October 25, 2013
The highly rated iPad-optimized PDF annotation app iAnnotate PDF has just been updated to version 3.0 and redesigned for iOS 7 in the process.
Version 3.0 of iAnnotate PDF introduces a new look based on the visual design of iOS 7. "Built for iOS 7 and guided by customer input, iAnnotate 3.0 features a beautiful new user interface designed for iOS 7’s new aesthetic," says iAnnotate PDF developer Branchfire of the interface revamp. "Flat icons, a cleaner workspace and improved layout allow users to get more productive with much less distraction."

In addition to its iOS 7-inspired redesign, the latest update to iAnnotate PDF also adds support for AirDrop, enabling you to quickly share documents with other users nearby.
The update also improves the app's accessibility by adding support for iOS' Speak Selection feature. As a result, you can now have highlighted words read out loud in iAnnotate PDF, provided Speak Selection is enabled in the Settings app.
Version 3.0 of iAnnotate PDF also brings a much-requested feature in the form of the ability to copy annotations from one page or document and paste them into another. To use this feature, just tap and hold on an existing annotation and select "Copy Annotation."
Finally, iAnnotate PDF 3.0 lets you find a file's location or source folder by accessing the Properties menu in the document tab.
Compatible with iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, iAnnotate PDF 3.0 is available now in the App Store. It comes as a free update to existing users. For new ones, iAnnotate PDF 3.0 is currently available for the special "good things come in threes" price of $2.99, down from its regular price of $9.99.
The app is included in AppAdvice's PDF Annotation Apps and PDF Readers For iPad AppGuides.
