PayPal For iOS Updated With User Experience Tweaks And Password Manager Support
October 24, 2013
The official iOS app of PayPal has just been updated with a number of improvements aimed at making the user experience better.
First off, the latest update to PayPal for iOS reorders the Account bottom menu to provide quicker access to the tabs that are used more often. Previously, the arrangement of the bottom menu was: Wallet, Activity, Transfer, and Settings. Now, Activity has been promoted to the first spot, followed by Transfer, Wallet, and Settings:
The new PayPal update also adds support for password management apps such as 1Password and oneSafe. Now, you can copy and paste your PayPal password right from your favorite password management app and into the PayPal app's login screen. Also including some bug fixes, the new version of PayPal is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later. PayPal for iOS received its last major update early last month. That update added a new Shop tab for paying in local stores and restaurants using the app. It also introduced a new design. PayPal was featured by Apple during the company's special iPhone event last month as one of the high-profile apps that would be getting iOS 7-inspired designs. The app, however, is yet to be updated and redesigned for iOS 7. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
