SoundTracking Updated With Mentions, Hashtag Search And Google Image Support

October 14, 2013
SoundTracking, the social networking app designed for sharing the "soundtrack of your life," has just been updated with several notable features. First off, the app now supports @username mentions. This means that you can now mention other SoundTracking users in your captions and comments. As a result, they'll instantly receive notifications of your mentions. To mention a SoundTracking user in a caption or comment, just precede his or her username with an @ symbol. Another new feature brought by the latest update to SoundTracking is hashtag search. The app's previous major update, which arrived last July, introduced tappable hashtags in posts and comments. Now, hashtags can be searched by tapping the search icon in the Trending section. Hashtag search helps you discover interesting posts and songs as well as new friends to follow. Finally, the new SoundTracking update adds support for Google Image search as an alternative to the existing Camera, Photos, and Instagram sources in the app. Just tap the "add photo" button in the post screen, select Google Image Search, and search for the perfect image for your soundtrack. The new version of SoundTracking is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later. Note that the app is yet to be redesigned for iOS 7.
