Yahoo Screen Updated With AirPlay Support And Push Notifications For Videos

Yahoo Screen has just received its second update. But unlike the first update, this new update doesn't bring nothing more than bug fixes and performance improvements. Rather, in addition to bug fixes and performance improvements, the latest update to Yahoo Screen brings a couple of new major features. First, there's AirPlay support. Now, you can stream a video from Yahoo Screen to your Apple TV. What's more, while the video is playing on your TV, you can still browse for other videos in the app. And second, push notifications is now supported in Yahoo Screen to alert you of new live and featured videos, including breaking news and concerts. The new version of Yahoo Screen is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later. Released just last month, Yahoo Screen lets you watch a variety of clips. These include the best of "Saturday Night Live," "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," "The Colbert Report," The Onion, and Yahoo Originals featuring the likes of Jack Black, Ed Helms, Cheryl Hines, and Rachael Harris. Aside from comedy, Yahoo Screen also lets you stream the best in news, sports, food, and entertainment. Just swipe up or down to change the channel, or left or right to browse through videos within a channel. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
