Comedy Fans Will Enjoy The New Yahoo Screen App

If you like to laugh, the new Yahoo Screen iOS app is definitely for you.
Even though the app features video clips from a number of sources, it leans heavily toward comedy. Along with the best of “Saturday Night Live,” viewers will also get the chance to see original comedy content featuring Jack Black, Ed Helms, Zachary Levi, Cheryl Hines, Rachael Harris, and more.
Thanks to a deal with Viacom, the app will also showcase clips from a number of Comedy Central shows like “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” and “The Colbert Report.”
After using the app for just a few minutes, I was definitely pleased with the mobile-first UI. Viewers can browse through trending clips, search for shows, or just start watching. Swiping left and right skips between episodes and the same gesture up and down flips through channels.
Yahoo Screen is a universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now in the App Store for free. It’s also the first app to feature the brand-new Yahoo logo.
