AppoLearning's New Feature Lets Users Showcase The Best Educational Apps

November 6, 2013
Since its launch late last August, Appolicious' AppoLearning app for iPad has been showcasing the best educational apps for kids and high schoolers as picked by a team of teachers and app experts. But with the debut of a major new feature, the app has begun enabling users themselves to showcase what they think are the best educational apps out there. Now live in the AppoLearning app as well as on the AppoLearning website, the new feature is aptly called Community Picks. Indeed, it highlights the choicest educational apps according to AppoLearning's community of users. These picks are grouped into different app lists, separate from the more than 150 categories of apps curated by AppoLearning's team of professionals. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Just tap the new Community Picks square in the app's home screen to see the featured app lists. You can then choose to view apps for iPhone or iPad only, and search for particular lists or apps. And if you wish to create your very own lists for other users to see, just sign up or sign in right from the Community Picks section. The new version of AppoLearning is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPad running iOS 6.1 or later. The newly updated app is also said to include some bug fixes. Apparently, though, it's still prone to crashing. Here's hoping AppoLearning gets updated soon with crash fixes as well.
