Football Heroes Is Full Of Over-The-Top Pigskin Action

While enjoying another weekend of college and NFL football action, you should also download the new Football Heroes app and give it a spin.
From Run Games, the new action title pays homage to the old school, over-the-top arcade football games and features a robust single-player and multiplayer mode.
Gamers can create and build their own football team to battle against the AI or local multiplayer via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Online play is coming soon.
Players can control every aspect of their team, including the run, pass, throw, and tackle with just a touch. Some of the fun moves players can take advantage of include Spinning Fists, Dragon Punch, Tornado Kick, Rocket Shoes, and Oil Slick.
RPG mechanics reward players with experience every time they do something great on the field.
With Cup Mode, gamers take on increasingly powerful teams with unique tactics and killer moves.
There are two different versions of Football Heroes available to download. Football Heroes is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch while Football Heroes HD is made for the iPad/iPad mini.
Both can be downloaded now in the App Store for free. Not surprisingly, with this type of game, there are numerous in-app purchase opportunities.
I thought Football Heroes, even after just playing it for a few minutes, was spectacular fun. I’m looking forward to trying it out even more soon.
