Qello For iOS Says Hello To New Video Player Engine, 64-Bit Support And More

November 13, 2013
The official iOS app of Qello, the popular streaming service for concert and music documentaries, has just been updated with a number of notable enhancements. Among these enhancements is a new video player engine, which makes for improved features and speed:
On the iPhone, to switch a playing video to fullscreen mode, simply rotate the iPhone to landscape orientation. To leave fullscreen video, rotate the device back to portrait. The video player's transition to fullscreen mode on the iPad is also greatly streamlined and enhanced.
The latest update to Qello for iOS also includes a new option to save concerts to the new Watch Later list and another new option to resume playing unfinished concerts with the new subscribers-only Recently Watched feature. In addition, it redesigns the Center Stage as a new dedicated section and brings improvements to the app's Spotlight screen, Concert and Setlist screens, and session handling. Also including several bug fixes and a new app icon that matches its iOS 7-inspired interface, the new version of Qello is available now in the App Store for free. The app offers a Qello All-Access Pass subscription for $4.99 per month. Qello for iOS is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later. Following its latest update, the app has been optimized with 64-bit support for iPhone 5s, iPad Air, and iPad mini with Retina display. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
