Kick Back And Enjoy The New RUGGD iPad Air Case From Tylt

Accessory maker Tylt is branching out. The company has just announced its first tablet case – the RUGGD for the new iPad Air.
Even though the case weighs in at a little less than a half of a pound, the Tylt is designed to be a rugged option. Featuring a hard outer shell with an energy-absorbing inner liner, the RUGGD protects the tablet from shock after an accidental drop.
As a nice touch, the built-in and collapsible kickstand can place the tablet into a perfect media viewing angle.
The case retails for $49.99. Buyers can select from either a gray or the pictured green version. It can be ordered now directly from Tylt.
If you own an iPhone 5c, the RUGGD can also be preordered for the handset. It will set you back $34.99.
I’m excited to see Tylt finally jump into the iPad case arena. The company's accessories are definitely unique, and I’m interested to take a hands-on look at the RUGGD.
But if the RUGGD isn’t for you, take a look at a number of other iPad Air case choices in the previous two editions of This Week in Accessories.
