Ness Dining Guide Now Recommends Restaurants For You And Your Friends
November 24, 2013
Ness, the popular dining guide that was selected by Apple as an App Store Best of 2012 and an Editors' Choice earlier this year, has just been updated with a new major feature.
This new major feature is based on the realization that most Ness users don't usually eat alone. And so, Ness has been updated to enable you to find the perfect place to eat when you're with a friend or a group:
Date night? Covered. Lunch with coworkers? Covered. Brunch with old friends? Covered. Invite the people you dine with most often to try it out.To get restaurant recommendations for you and your friends, tap the new "Add a Person" icon at the top of the app's home screen. You're then prompted to include anyone you're following on Ness, whereupon the app generates recommendations based on your preferences plus those of your friends. Along with this new feature comes support for "short lists," which lets you easily save and share the places that look best to you with your friends. Your friends can then add their own places or vote on your suggestions in these lists. Also featuring map cards and a new list map view, the new version of Ness is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later.
