Orders For Apple's iPad Air Go Live In The Apple Online Store: Get Yours Now

Apple has launched online orders for its iPad Air in the Apple Online Store, and the tablet is available to purchase from $499 with an anticipated delivery date listed as Monday, Nov. 4.
Online stores in the United States and the United Kingdom are now stocking the fifth-generation 9.7-inch tablet. The iPad Air also launched in a number of European countries, including France and Germany, at the same time, though the new product is available in a large selection of international territories.

Launch times appear to have depended on time zone; Apple's iPad Air has long been available in countries such as Australia and New Zealand, and in the former country's Apple Online Store, the new tablet is still shipping within 24 hours (as of this writing). As a reminder, Apple's iPad is set to go on sale in U.S. Apple Retail Stores, carrier stores, and retailers at 8 a.m. local time.
