Tired Of Angry Birds? Try Playing With Angry Bugs In Chillingo's Beetle Breaker

November 16, 2013
If these bugs are angry at just one thing, that one thing seems to be none other than wood. And they'll go to great lengths to make variously shaped blocks of it explode in Beetle Breaker. Developed by Master of Code and published by Chillingo, Beetle Breaker is a new physics-based puzzle game that appears to combine classic block-breaking with the object-popping slingshot gameplay popularized by Angry Birds:
They might be small but these bugs are ready to blow! Tap and drag your finger to aim your slingshot and catapult these bugs around moving obstacles to land the perfect explosion.
If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. As in Rovio's wildly popular game, only a handful of shots are at your disposal in each of the 72 levels of Beetle Breaker. It's imperative, then, that you use the mustachioed critters to the best of their unique abilities, resulting in combos, achievements, and three-star ratings. You can also take advantage of special perks and beetle upgrades for better aiming and bigger explosions. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, Beetle Breaker is available now in the App Store for free.
