Long-Awaited Robot Combat Cover Shooter Sequel Epoch.2 Finally Comes Out In The Open

November 14, 2013

As expected, Epoch.2, the highly anticipated sequel to the acclaimed Epoch cover shooter, has been launched today on iOS.

Epoch.2 was first announced by developer Uppercut Games last July. Then, just a few days ago, it was teased with an epic trailer and was finally given a definite release date: Nov. 14, which is, in fact, today.

Starting today, you can play Epoch.2 to experience the post-apocalyptic robot combat frenzy it offers, which is rooted in an intriguing new story:

EPOCH has trekked across a war-ravaged country to find the one person he was programmed to protect: the Princess, Amelia. Now he must follow a final, desperate lead to reach her, with the two warring robot armies of Omegatroniks and Alphetekk standing in his way. But what surprises await EPOCH when the Princess is finally located? And what will she make of the world she wakes up to?

Aside from a new story, Epoch.2 features new areas, new weapons, new levels, new enemies, and new tactics. It also boasts impressive visuals powered by the latest version of Unreal Engine 3, which is also used in Infinity Blade III.

Epoch.2 is available now in the App Store for $5.99. It's optimized for the following iOS devices: iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, fifth-generation iPod touch, iPad 2, third-generation iPad, fourth-generation iPad, iPad Air, iPad mini, and second-generation iPad mini.
