Totally Awesome Calca App Gets Redesigned For iOS 7, Updated With New Features

November 4, 2013
The impressive calculator and text editor hybrid app Calca has just received a new major update that introduces a new design and new features. Released four months ago, Calca is a simply amazing app that automatically performs calculations as you type, provided that what you're typing follows the app's syntax, that is. Now, with its first update since the launch of iOS 7, Calca has finally been redesigned for iOS 7. As a result, it's simpler, cleaner, flatter, and, of course, whiter — which is all the better, since it effectively adds more focus on content and calculations. The latest update to Calca also adds support for Dropbox storage (in addition to local and iCloud), folder support, and AirPrint integration. The update also includes the following improvements:
  • Left and right swipe gestures for editing
  • Powerful unit and currency conversions
  • Control output precision and number grouping
  • JSON syntax for data
  • Summing definitions to make lists easier
  • Many bug fixes, new examples, and so much more!
The new version of Calca is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $2.99 download. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.1 or later. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
