Unbound For Dropbox Gets Updated With New Features On iOS, Launches On Mac
November 12, 2013
The popular Dropbox-integrated photo browser Unbound has just been updated with several new features and improvements on iOS.
As it turns out, Unbound for iPhone and Unbound HD for iPad have just received identical updates. In either edition's case, the update brings metadata display, caption support, sorting by date taken (as opposed to date synced), and posting to Facebook and Twitter.
But special mention is in order for a couple of improvements brought about by the updates. First, both Unbound for iPhone and Unbound HD for iPad have been completely redesigned based on iOS 7's clean and simple style. And second, both have been enhanced with support for video upload and playback.
Compatible with iOS devices running iOS 6.0 or later, Unbound for iPhone and Unbound HD for iPad are available in the App Store for $2.99 each.
As it happens, Unbound's latest iOS updates come at the same time as the release of version 1.0 of Unbound for Mac. Compatible with OS X 10.8 or later, Unbound for Mac is available now in the Mac App Store for $9.99.
Unbound is developed by Pixite, which recently released the ribbon overlay app LoryStripes and co-created the acclaimed geometric effects app Tangent.
