Are You Ready To Rumble? Then Download Angry Birds Rio's Rocket-Powered Update Now
December 19, 2013
With just a couple of weeks to go before the year ends, Rovio has issued an explosive update to Angry Birds Rio in celebration of the New Year.
The latest update to the popular Angry Birds game based on the hit animated film "Rio" introduces a brand new Rocket Rumble episode. This new episode, which contains 20 new levels along with six special bonus levels to unlock, introduces a new gameplay mechanic whereby you hit the fuse to set off some bright and blazing fireworks.
The update also sees the arrival of Stella the Pink Bird in Angry Birds Rio, so you can take advantage of her powerful bubble blower to take down those mayhem-making marmosets. It also brings the incendiary Rocket Bird to help out in the bonus levels.

The new versions of Angry Birds Rio for iPhone and Angry Birds Rio HD for iPad are available now in the App Store.
Since last January, both editions of Angry Birds Rio have been downloadable for free. They do, however, offer in-app purchases for various power-ups, which were introduced to the game through it’s samba update in December last year.
Angry Birds Rio was previously updated last July with a summery Golden Beachball episode.
