Breathe, Think, Do With Sesame And The Big Moving Adventure Hit The App Store

December 9, 2013
Sesame Workshop, the group behind the iconic television program “Sesame Street,” has just unveiled two new iOS apps for kids. Breathe, Think, Do with Sesame, designed for kids ages 2-5, explores a way for children to calm down and explore everyday challenges. Offered in both English and Spanish, kids help a monster friend take deep breaths, think of plans, and then try them out. Parents can even personalize encouraging phrases that your child will hear as they help the monster think of a plan. Made for the same age group, The Big Moving Adventure helps make the often-stressful move fun and enjoyable for kids. Kids can create their own muppet friend and help them through the moving process, including hearing about the move, packing, saying goodbye, expressing feelings, traveling, exploring the new home, and making new friends. Even though The Big Moving Adventure was created specifically to support military children, who move from six to nine times between kindergarten and high school, there are some great tips for any family that is moving. Both apps are universal and designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. Breathe, Think, Do with Sesame and The Big Moving Adventure are both free.
