Full iOS 7 Support, Photo Detail Editing And New Login Experience Come To 500px App
December 19, 2013
The official iOS app of the premium photo-sharing platform 500px has just been updated with full iOS 7 support along with several notable enhancements.
Early last October, 500px for iOS was updated with some UI design tweaks (including edge-to-edge display of photos) inspired by iOS 7, which was released a couple of weeks prior.
Now, the app has been updated with full support for the operating system, with blurred backgrounds and other visual improvements thrown in. As a result, 500px is now compatible with iOS devices running iOS 7.0 or later.
The latest update to 500px also adds the ability to edit photo details, including title, description, tags, location, and EXIF data.
Moreover, the new version of 500px features a new animated login and tour experience for old and new users alike. The introductory tour highlights the app's navigation scheme, gallery browsing, photo viewing, profile info, and 500px's Flow timeline. And the login or signup screen supports using email, Facebook, Twitter, or Google.
The new version of 500px is available now in the App Store for free. As mentioned, the app is now compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later
