GifBoom 5.0 Features iOS 7 Interface, New Camera Modes, Segments And Groups
December 7, 2013
The popular GIF- and video-sharing app GifBoom has just been updated to version 5.0.
GifBoom 5.0 happens to be the app's long-awaited iOS 7-optimizing update, as it brings a streamlined interface based on the design of iOS 7.
Along with the app's redesigned interface come several significant new features for GifBoom.
These include an enhanced camera interface that supports four modes, namely, Stop Motion mode, Burst mode, Auto mode, and Time mode. The Stop Motion and Burst modes take single or continuous shots sans sound, while the Auto and Timer modes record video with sound.
The revamped camera interface also features new vintage filters.
GifBoom 2.0 also sees the introduction of Segments, which allow you to edit each individual frame or segment. Developer TapMojo notes:
Add, reorder, split, or slow down each segment to mix different videos/photos/gifs into one clip. It's like the coolest video DJ app to open up your creativity! To add a little fun, we also included drawing on your clips.Furtermore, GifBoom 5.0 replaces Channels with Groups. Like Channels, Groups let you discover new GifBoom content and find GifBoom users with interests similar to yours. But with Groups, you can now create your own groups and add other users as administrators. You can then feature GIFs in your groups. GifBoom 5.0 is available now in the App Store for free. It's optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
