Launch Center Pro 2.1 Features Fleksy Keyboard Support And Other Major Enhancements
December 13, 2013
Launch Center Pro has just launched into another major update.
A couple of months ago, the popular iOS shortcut launcher developed by Contrast (formerly App Cubby) was updated to version 2.0. Launch Center Pro 2.0 included a new iOS 7-inspired interface, Dropbox features, and other enhancements.
Now, Launch Center Pro 2.1 is here with several significant enhancements of its own.
First off, the update adds Fleksy keyboard support. As we reported yesterday, Launch Center Pro is one of the first group of third-party iOS apps to enable users to select Fleksy as the primary keyboard option. As such, it now lets you activate Fleksy's intelligent gesture-based touch-typing keyboard in Fleksy with
[prompt-fleksy]
.
Another notable new feature brought by the latest update to Launch Center Pro is support for lists with the introduction of the [list]
tag. It's like a [prompt]
, but with multiple choices. For example, if you want to be prompted to call either Harry or Ron, use tel:[list:Call|Harry=555-8888|Ron=555-9999]
Launch Center Pro 2.1 also introduces photo attachment options, e.g. ?attach=photo:last
, and iOS share sheet actions, e.g. launch://sharesheet?text=[prompt]
.
Also including updated TextExpander integration, bug fixes, and other improvements, Launch Center Pro 2.1 is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $4.99 download. It's optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later.
