Localscope 4.0 Features iOS 7 Redesign, Revamped Dashboard And Lots More
December 12, 2013
Localscope has just been updated to version 4.0.
According to developer Cynapse, Localscope 4.0 is the biggest update in the popular location-browsing app's three-year history. And it's really easy to see why.
First and foremost, Localscope 4.0 introduces a completely redesigned interface based, of course, on the look and feel of iOS 7. Right from the new flat app icon to every nook and cranny of the app, Localscope 4.0 is decidedly designed for iOS 7 — and optimized for the iOS 7-running and M7-wielding iPhone 5s to boot.
The latest and biggest update to Localscope also introduces a revamped dashboard that shows what's nearby from all of the app's sources. The dashboard also features an integrated location screen and integrated search, which makes for a unified view of results.
Speaking of search, Localscope 4.0 boasts a new intelligent parallel query engine that automatically gets results from all sources for faster browsing of locations. And speaking of sources, the source sliders for the full list, map and AR views now offer instant switching and present only services that have results.
Localscope 4.0 also includes the following improvements:
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, Localscope 4.0 is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $2.99 download. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
