Marvel Unlimited Gets iOS 7 Design Refresh And More In Newly Issued Update
January 1, 2014
The official iOS app of Marvel Unlimited, the so-called "Netflix for Marvel comics," has just received a major update.
Shortly after the launch of iOS 7 last September, the Marvel Unlimited app was updated with improved compatibility with the operating system. Now, the app's iOS 7 compatibility has been further enhanced with the arrival of its latest update, which brings a refreshed look for iOS 7.
While the app's navigation and color schemes remain unchanged, Marvel Unlimited now looks noticeably flatter. From its glyphs to its other UI elements, Marvel Unlimited has done away with tis former textured finish.
In addition to its new look, Marvel Unlimited has gained support for posting comments on comics and signing in with Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Yahoo. It has also been updated with easier viewing of free issues on the home screen.
Also including various bug fixes and performance improvements, the new version of Marvel Unlimited is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.1 or later.
For $10 per month or $70 per year, Marvel Unlimited offers readers access to more than 70 years of Marvel’s comic books. The app, which was released in March 2013, supports offline reading for up to 12 titles and easy browsing by character, creator, comics event, and series.
Marvel Unlimited is linked to the Marvel Comics app for purchasing individual comic books.
