Meetup 4.0 Features New iOS 7 Design Including New Activity, Meetups And Groups Tabs

December 20, 2013
Meetup has just been updated to version 4.0 with a brand new design for iOS 7. Meetup is the official iOS app of Meetup.com, the popular online social networking portal that facilitates offline meetings among groups of people with common interests. Released back in June 2010, the app has now been given a new design treatment in time for the New Year. Based on the look and feel of iOS 7, Meetup's new design is unsurprisingly simpler and flatter. It's also worth noting that the new design does away with the app's sidebar navigation in favor of a more streamlined bottom tab menu, which includes new tabs for Activity, Meetups and Groups tabs. "The new Activity tab puts your next Meetup at your fingertips. See when it’s happening, who’s talking about it and how to get there," notes the development team behind the Meetup app. "Not RSVPed to a Meetup? The new Meetups and Groups tabs make it easy to find the right one for you." Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, Meetup 4.0 is available now in the App Store for free. Meetup is listed at the top of AppAdvice's Apps To Beef Up Your Social Life AppList.
