Punch Quest Updated With New Enemy Type, New Abilities And Other Improvements

December 2, 2013
Punch Quest, the endless runner that "packs quite a … punch," has just received a major update. The new update introduces a new rare enemy type in the form of snakes. It also adds a couple of new Power II abilities. One of them replaces the slam with a spinning move, and the other changes how Supers work, with support for manual activation to trigger an explosion. The latest update to Punch Quest also includes the following improvements:
  • Time Loan penalty removed.
  • Shuffling Boosts around to hopefully make the store menu nicer. May play with this more later.
  • Confirmation for when you tap the "buy another slot" button in Customize.
  • Boot color now matches your gauntlet color.
If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. In addition, the update replaces most of the daily sharing bonuses with video ads for earning coin rewards. It also adds an option to remove ads following any in-app purchase, effectively disabling the chart boost cross-promotions and the aforementioned video ads. Also including various bug fixes and tweaks, the new version of Punch Quest is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later. Punch Quest received its previous major update back in January, thereby gaining a new egg transform in the form of the Goaticorn, along with other improvements.
