Realmac Confirms: Clear To Get Reminders, Ember To Receive Annotations
The folks over at Realmac Software have confirmed that the popular to-do app, Clear, is set to receive an update in February adding support for a long asked-for feature: Reminders. Plus, changes are set to reach Ember for iOS, too, according to the developer.
Realmac announced the news in a blog post in which the developer outlined its plans for next year. Though a lot is in the cards for 2014, when it comes to Clear for both iOS and Mac there's one feature (and one feature only) that's said to be incoming. The developer explains:
Since the launch of Clear+ for iOS earlier this year we've been hard at work adding one of the most requested features, Reminders. We've been working on this feature for the last few months and it's shaping up rather well.
The updates for Realmac's Clear apps is due in February 2014, the post explains. However, that's not all.
Realmac also notes that its Ember iOS app is set to receive an update before Clear, in January 2014. The update will add support for annotations to the iOS application, and both the iOS and Mac apps will receive a blur tool, too.
The developer adds that Courier for Mac, Analog for Mac, and Analog Camera have all been laid to rest; Realmac notes, on the other hand, that RealWeaver is still very much alive, and promises a major update for the application in the first half of next year.
For more information on Realmac Software's plans, be sure to check out the developer's aforementioned blog post. We'll let you know once the iOS updates launch in the App Store.
In the meantime, Clear for iOS can be downloaded for $2.99, while Ember is available free of charge.
