Sega's Sonic Dash Set To Kick Off Fun And Festive Global Challenge For The Holidays

December 18, 2013
Sonic Dash, the popular endless running game featuring Sega's famous speedy character, has just received a new update for the holidays. The new update prepares the game for a new global challenge that's set to arrive this Christmas. Of course, the update is expected to come with a fun and festive theme. It's also set to feature a special character star prize. Early last month, Sonic Dash got an update in promotion of the Wii U and 3DS action-adventure platforming video game Sonic Lost World. That update introduced a boss battle with Zazz from Sonic Lost World. But with the latest Sonic Dash update, the Sonic Lost World promotion is officially over. However, Zazz is going to hang around a bit longer, waiting for you to defeat him in exchange for a large score bonus. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. The latest update to Sonic Dash also adds a reminder dialogue for active missions and daily challenge progress at the start of each run. Furthermore, it adds new achievements, including Goldfish, Chasing Shadows, and Miles Per Hour. The new version of Sonic Dash is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. For more popular running games, check out AppAdvice's Endless Running Games AppGuide.
