The official iOS app of the popular social photo-sharing Web store Fancy has just received a significant update. The update introduces a new iOS 7-inspired design for the app's iPhone edition. Most notably, Fancy for iPhone now uses a new tabbed interface, which offers one-tap access to the Timeline, Shop, Cart, and Profile sections of the app. There's also a More tab for accessing Add to Fancy, notifications, account information, and more in one place. Fancy for iPhone has not entirely gotten rid of its sidebar interface, though. In fact, the Shop section has its very own sidebar for: browsing categories, customizing Fancy boxes, buying and redeeming gift cards, finding deals, viewing gift guides and recommendations, browsing brands and stores, and finding products available for same-day delivery. The new update also features improved search on iPhone. Now you can search for brands and lists, in addition to things and people. You can now also filter results based on your tastes and your preferred price range. The new and improved Fancy for iPhone also includes the following enhancements:
Timeline • Pull down to filter things by your favorite Categories • Quickly add an item to your cart with the new Add to Cart button beneath the item image. • View and post comments without leaving the Timeline screen. Info Screen • Tap an item to find detailed information, beautiful photos and useful shipping information • Swipe left and right to view more things without going back to the Timeline Refreshed Profiles • Show off your Fancy tastes with a cleaner profile design. • Easy access to your Added, Wants, Owns and Badges. Also including some performance improvements and bug fixes, the new version of Fancy is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.1 or later. According to the Fancy team, a design refresh for Fancy for iPad is already in the works, along with more enhancements. Fancy that! [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
