GIF Messaging App Relay Updated With iOS 7 Redesign And Unlimited Chat History

January 28, 2014
A new update has just been relayed to Relay. Relay is a messaging app that lets you chat with your friends using GIFs rather than the usual emoji, emoticons, or stickers. It features an integrated search function that lets you find GIFs of your favorite celebrities, videos, events, or reactions, and "relay" them directly into chat messages. Released in September 2012, Relay has just received an update that brings about a major design refresh inspired, of course, by iOS 7. This means that the Relay you may have already come to know and love is now simpler, cleaner, and flatter. Along with the new iOS 7-style interface, the latest update to Relay also adds support for unlimited chat history. Just tap the Load Earlier Messages button to see, well, earlier messages in a Relay chat. Also including various bug and crash fixes, the new version of Relay is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later. Relay previously received an update last month, which removed watermarks from saved or copied GIFS.
