Photo And Video Management App Loom Gains New Sharing And Saving Features

January 22, 2014
The simple yet powerful photo and video management app Loom has just received a new update that introduces new sharing and saving features. On the sharing side of things, the newly updated Loom now lets you choose to share a link to a Photo Page or embed a photo right within an email or iMessage (as opposed to just emailing or texting an inline link). Loom now also enables you to share a photo via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. What's more, it now lets you open photos in other apps via the "Open In" inter-app protocol. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. As for the saving front, Loom now supports downloading of multiple items at the same time. And in relation to that, it now supports downloading of videos as well as photos. The latest update to Loom also includes bug fixes along with improvements to the app's passcode lock, scrubbing for streamed videos, and implementation of review requests. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later, Loom is available in the App Store for free. Loom is free to use for up to 5GB only. But it offers a couple of annual plans via in-app purchase for upgrading storage space: an additional 50GB for $39.99 per year or an additional 250GB for $99.99 per year.
