Plug Your iOS Devices To The Cloud With Pogoplug, Now Optimized For iOS 7
January 10, 2014
Pogoplug, the official iOS client of the Dropbox and iCloud alternative service of the same name, has just been updated for iOS 7.
Of course, the app's new iOS 7-optimized version features a new design that matches the look and feel of the latest iteration of Apple's mobile operating system.
On top of its iOS 7 redesign and under the hood are several other enhancements brought by the latest update to Pogoplug. Most notable among these is one-tap multi-file share, which allows you to select multiple files for sharing by email, Facebook, or link grab.
The update also features improved background uploading. It also adds a new upload history and progress screen for accessing recently uploaded files and viewing the status of uploads.
Furthermore, it includes simplified settings and enhanced performance for streaming, sharing, and backup.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, the new version of Pogoplug is available now in the App Store for free.
A free account with Pogoplug offers only 5GB of storage. For unlimited cloud storage, you can upgrade to a paid account for $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year.
