Presence By People Power Goes 2.0, Features In-App And In-Browser Video Viewing

January 6, 2014
Presence by People Power has just been updated to version 2.0. While it doesn't introduce a new iOS 7-inspired design, version 2.0 of the popular app that turns old iOS devices into remote Web cameras does introduce a couple of new ways to view Presence videos. One way is through the app itself, which now includes a new Videos tab that also lets you download videos directly to your photo album for sharing with others. And the other way is through the new PresencePro.com Web Console, which can be accessed from a standard Web browser. Presence 2.0 also brings instant notifications for when motion is detected from any of your Presence cameras. Alerts arrive within seconds of activity, with movie thumbnails linked to your Presence videos. And with Presence 2.0, you get 50MB of free private cloud-based video storage, which features the following:
  • Free private storage for your recordings on our cloud
  • Enables the future of longer video recordings too large to email
  • Identifies the Presence camera that captured the motion event
  • Time-stamped video recordings with absolute and relative times
  • Secure 2-way Presence device authentication
  • 2048-bit SSL security, 128-bit AES video storage encryption
Presence 2.0 is available now in the App Store for free. It's compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
