Mega Jump, the popular arcade jumping game developed by Get Set Games, is set to get a sequel next week. The sequel is creatively called Mega Jump 2. And according to Touch Arcade, "While Mega Jump 2 looks quite similar to the first, there are several significant changes which should please fans of the series." First and foremost, Mega Jump 2 is an endless jumping game, as opposed to its predecessor's level-based jumping affair. It also features a new objective-based Adventure mode and a new Mega Fever mode that can be triggered by collecting new tokens. Furthermore, Mega Jump 2 features different playable characters, each with his or her own unique abilities. As mentioned, Mega Jump 2 is set to be released next week. Presumably, it's scheduled to hit the App Store on Thursday, Jan. 16. In the meantime, you can continue playing the original Mega Jump, which remains available in the App Store for free. A month ago, Get Set Games launched a premium version of Mega Jump called Mega Jump Plus. This was soon followed by Mega Run Plus, the premium version of the free auto-running platformer Mega Run (the basis for Disney's Monsters, Inc. Run).
