Slayin To Get Big 2.0 Update Next Week, New Trailer Hits The Web
The popular Slayin is set to get a big 2.0 update next week, on Jan. 23. In anticipation of the update’s release, however, FDG Entertainment has published a brand new trailer for Slayin 2.0, which provides iDevice users with a better idea of what can be expected from the updated application.
Slayin 2.0 promises gamers more characters, new weapons, and - best of all? - additional retro music from Matt Creamer. The app’s incoming characters are an archer (“Archer”), a “Tamer” (a monster tamer), and a lightning fast “Ninja.” Each one is completely original and will be available to access as of Slayin 2.0.
Plus, the three new characters also come with their own individual weapons and game skins, according to FDG Entertainment.
There are new missions, Game Center achievements, and leaderboards for Slayin fans to enjoy in the updated app, and as mentioned, additional retro music from Matt Creamer is another feature that fans of the application will definitely appreciate. It’s also possible to unlock an alternative game track in Slayin 2.0, too.
Here’s the trailer for the updated app, see what you think:

Slayin first launched in the App Store back in April 2013, and upon its release we highlighted the application in our “Today’s Best Apps” article. Though the game hasn’t seen much in the way of content-expanding updates, Slayin’s original 8-bit soundtrack was made available to download following the app’s release.
How do you like the look of Slayin’s 2.0 update?
We’ll let you know once it’s available to download in the App Store. In the meantime, you can pick up Slayin for just $0.99, and it’s optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
