Camera+ 5.1 Arrives With A Number Of Tweaks To The Lab Editing Suite

Popular third-party camera app Camera+ has just been updated with a number of new features.
First up, developer tap tap tap has made a wide variety of improvements to the app's photo editing suite called The Lab. Along with several usability tweaks, users can now take advantage of the ability to tap and hold an adjustment to reset it.
Another new setting allows shutterbugs to select whichever section they would like to begin with while editing photos. For example, a user could chose to go directly to The Lab.
And to help kick the photo filters up a notch, the new boost feature can bump the intensity up to an impressive 200 percent.
Finally, users can take 16:9 photos with the new widescreen shooting mode. That should make it much easier to create that perfect iPhone background.
Designed for the iPhone/iPod touch, Camera+ can be downloaded now in the App Store for $1.99.
A separate Camera+ app for the iPad and iPad mini didn’t receive an update today, but it can be downloaded in the App Store for $4.99.
The most recent update is the first since Camera+ 5 arrived back in December. Along with an iOS 7 inspired design, that version ushered in The Lab, split exposure lock and exposure compensation controls, and much more.
