The updated app also reintroduces photo filters for the iPhone version.
Finally, along with the usual bug fixes and stability improvements, the app now features better support for viewing push notifications.
A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, EchoFon Pro for Twitter can be purchased in the App Store for $4.99 now.
The ad-supported EchoFon for Twitter, which is free in the App Store and a universal app, has yet to be updated.
Version 7.0 of the app arrived back in September. That brought a new look to match iOS 7 and support for the edge-swipe back navigation gesture.
If you're looking for another option to Twitter's official iOS app, Tweetbot 3 is also a very nice choice. It's designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and can be downloaded for $4.99 from the App Store now.
