NinJump Rooftops Runs Into New Prizes, Powered Costumes And More
February 11, 2014
NinJump Rooftops, the endless running sequel to the original NinJump game that was released by Backflip Studios back in 2010, has just been hit with its first major update since its launch late last October.
The update brings more prizes and rewards for you to collect on your rooftop runs. There's a prize upon completion of the mission of the day, and there's an even bigger one upon completion of a full week's worth of missions. There's also a special Jade Prize Bucket in the NinDrop Challenge at the end of a run, in which you can drop a token to claim a premium reward.
The new NinJum Rooftops update also introduces all-new Powered Costumes:
Not only do the all-new "Powered Costumes" look great, they also make you more, uh, "powerful". The Chicken Powered Costume gives your ninja a 3rd bonus jump. The Robot Powered Costume magnetically attracts coins. Just remember, with great power comes great responsibility. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. The update also adds a new Panda Costume. While it's not among the new Powered Costumes, the Panda Costume is nonetheless an admirable addition to any self-respecting ninja's rooftop-running wardrobe. Finally, the update brings more than 30 new gameplay scenarios along with an adjusted difficulty curve. The new version of NinJump Rooftops is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later. For more information on NinJump Rooftops, check out our original review of the game here on AppAdvice. NinJump Rooftops is not to be confused with Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
