Unique Calendar App CalCube Updated With An Even Flatter Look

That was fast. Less than a week after its introduction, CalCube has been updated to version 1.0.1.
Most importantly, update brings an even flatter look to the interesting and unique calendar app. And along with more contrast in the Edit Event screen, there is a completely new pop-over that displays all of the event’s details.
A bug that affected the 12-hour and 24-hour settings has been fixed. The update also cures issues with vertical and horizontal week layout.
Finally, language localization for Mexican Spanish, Traditional Chinese, and Brazilian Portuguese has been added.
A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, CalCube can be downloaded now in the App Store for $1.99.
AppSuperb’s other app, WeatherCube, is free for a limited time in the App Store. It’s also universal.
If you’re looking for an out-of-the-ordinary way to keep track of your schedule, CalCube definitely fits the bill. Users can swipe between different faces of the 3-D shaped calendar along with pinching in and out to open or close.
In our original review, Daniel Celeste definitely liked the user interface:
CalCube is great in so many ways, and this is mainly because its characteristic user interface and aesthetics are unrivaled by other calendar apps. However, despite event creation being a small factor in any calendar app, CalCube's mediocre implementation of this is a deal-breaker for me. On the other had, if you're a sucker for gestures who hates getting lost in your calendar, CalCube may be perfect for youFor other app news and reviews today, see: Enjoy Ghoulish Multiplayer Brawls In Fright Fight, Pholium 3.0 Lets You Create Multimedia Photo-Books With More Sources And Features, and GlobePhone By TextPlus Offers Low Cost International Calling Through Wi-Fi.
