Whether You're Celebrating Valentine's Or Singles Awareness Day, YAKiT Gets It
February 9, 2014
Love is in the air! Or not. Either way, you can express how you feel about Feb. 14 by making videos with YAKiT, the quirky app that makes photos talk.
That's because YAKiT has just been updated both in celebration of Valentine's Day and in lamentation of Singles Awareness Day (SAD), allowing you to personalize your "yakking" videos with free overlays inspired by the two pseudo-holidays:
YAKiT can make any picture talk as a hilarious animated video, where a user just has to speak to animate! It makes for the perfect personalized eCard for Valentine's Day, especially with our fun animated stickers that really bring the photo to life. Not only does YAKiT help people express their love and crushes for Valentine's Day, but also helps capture the extreme depression and loneliness of "Singles Awareness Day."Here's an example of a video made using the Valentine's Day pack: If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. The latest update to YAKiT also includes new channels (Rant, Sports, and Politics) and various bug fixes. Moreover, it increases the allowed number of characters in captions from 100 to 150. Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later, YAKiT is available in the App Store for free. The app's child-friendly version, YAKiT Kids, has also just been updated, but, understandably, with the Valentine's Day pack only.
