Check Out This Trailer For Leo's Fortune, Coming Soon To The App Store

March 19, 2014

Leo’s Fortune is an upcoming platformer for iOS devices in which gamers take charge of “Leopold,” a green hairball-like creature who’s on the hunt for his stolen gold. Mixing together physics controls with stunning graphics, Leo’s Fortune is “coming soon” to the App Store and we can’t wait for it to launch.

Little is known about the app, though a trailer surfaced online recently at YouTube. In the YouTube video’s description, its developer describes the game as “a beautiful platform/adventure game that bring (sic) the story of Leo to life in an epic journey,” and from what we understand the application will be optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

As you can see in the YouTube video, Leo can float in order to get past certain challenges presented in the game, and users can also get the character to jump across canyons and chasms that occur in the landscape he’s transversing.

It also looks like each level contains a series of puzzles which gamers must figure out in order to progress through the app. The overarching goal seems to be for the character to recover his lost treasure as he completes level after level.

Here’s the YouTube trailer, see what you think:

Graphically, the game looks to be outstanding, and this should make playing Leo’s Fortune a real joy. It seems as if there are a number of different environments which feature in the game, and each one appears to pose its own unique threats.

As mentioned, Leo’s Fortune is listed as “coming soon” at its dedicated website. Here’s hoping we don’t have long to wait until the application launches for iOS.

We’ll keep you updated with further information as we receive it. In the meantime, be sure to check out the above trailer for the game.
