Cydia Tweak: PowerDown Pro Offers Enhanced Power Off Options For iPhone, iPad

PowerDown Pro is a recently updated jailbreak tweak that adds a number of additional “power down” options to Apple’s mobile OS. The package can be downloaded now on the Cydia Store for just $0.99, and as of its most recent update it’s optimized for the iPhone and iPad.
Once downloaded and installed, multiple options are added to the iOS power down slider. Besides the usual “slide to power off” slider, users will also be able to access “reboot,” “respring,” or “safe mode” sliders, too, allowing jailbreakers to more easily perform any of the three additional actions on their iPhone or iPad.
Usefully, rather than adding three new, separate sliders to the power down screen, PowerDown Pro allows iOS device users to swipe along the traditional “slide to power off” slider in order to reveal the additional options. Then in order to execute your chosen action, users can swipe along a separate slider labeled “slide to confirm.”
Over in the Settings app, jailbreakers can choose how PowerDown Pro appears and functions. Here, the jailbreak tweak adds a new preferences pane to the application, and this allows users to configure the order in which the package’s additional power down options appear.
Besides that, however, nothing else is added by PowerDown Pro. It’s a simple package, but one that could save you a bit of time depending on how often you reboot, respring, or place your iOS device in safe mode.
