Case maker Kenu has just unveiled the second-generation of its unique Highline designed for the iPhone 5s/5. Along with a tough, clear polycarbonate case that protects the handset from scratches and drops, the system features a security leash. Attaching directly to the Lightning port, the connection can just be clicked in or out. The actual leash is reinforced with braided Kevlar that can go from fully extended and back in a snap. A Kevlar loop attachment can wrap around a number of items like zippers, belt loops, stroller straps, purse handles, and more. Here’s a quick promo video of the solution in action. Click here if you can’t see it. You can order the Highline directly from Kenu’s site now for $34.95. Orders are expected to ship in mid-April. Along with providing an extra layer of security to make sure your iPhone isn’t lost or stolen, the case should also give some extra peace of mind when taking pictures or videos on top of a cliff or while in a ski lift.
