Macworld/iWorld 2014: Get Charging With Prong’s PocketPlug For The iPhone

If you can never remember to bring along a charger for your iPhone, the PocketPlug might be the perfect case for you.
As the name suggests, the built-in charger plug can be easily deployed and plugged directly into an outlet.
Our own Dom Esposito took at firsthand look at the case during Macworld/iWorld 2014. Click here if you can’t see the video.
And if you don’t want to plug the case directly into the wall, a pass through port also allows you to charge the phone with a micro-USB cable.
The case is also designed to enhance the audio quality from an iPhone. Sound from the speakers is diverted to the front of the case for louder and clearer audio.
Buyers can select from five different color options – black, blue, white, red, and pink. The case retails for $69.95 and can be purchased directly from Prong’s site or a number of other retailers.
A version for the iPhone 4s/4 can also be purchased for $59.95.
