Sprinkle And Granny Smith Developer Launches Another Smash Hit On iOS

March 7, 2014
Mediocre AB, the creator of Sprinkle and Granny Smith, has proved once again that it's a developer of games that are the total opposite of the descriptor in its name. This week, the studio has come out with yet another impressive game in the form of the appropriately named Smash Hit. Smash Hit is a game that takes you to a new dimension and lets you hit and smash the things that are blocking your way. Featured as an an Editors' Choice, the game is described by Apple in its App Store Notes thus:
In this entrancing game of skill and spatial awareness, you lob spheres to clear a path through abstract environments, tapping into our innate fascination of watching virtual objects crumble apart. Part reflex challenge, part hypnotic journey across a strange, striking landscape, Smash Hit is a riveting experience.
If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Smash Hit features more than 50 different rooms to hit and smash through, with different graphic styles yet similarly realistic glass-breaking mechanics. What's more, the game's music and sounds effects are synchronized to each stage. Check back later here on AppAdvice for our full review of Smash Hit. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later, Smash Hit is available now in the App Store for free. The game offers a $1.99 "Premium" in-app purchase for unlocking several features, including cloud saves, statistics, and the ability to start from checkpoints. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
