Tapbots Updates Tweetbot For Mac With Image Thumbnail Improvements Plus Fixes

March 21, 2014
Tapbots has just updated its popular Twitter client app for Mac, Tweetbot, with image thumbnail improvements and several fixes. Most significantly, the latest update to Tweetbot for Mac adds new options for the image thumbnails: a large image thumbnail option and an option for no thumbnail at all. You can choose from the large, small or no thumbnail options in the app's Preferences window. The update also brings a refreshed image thumbnail design. The new version of Tweetbot for Mac also includes the following fixes:
  • Three finger left/right swipes in your timeline if trackpad settings are configured that way
  • Fixed the issue where some context menus had the first option highlighted by default
  • Fixed layout issues when viewing tweet details
The new version of Tweetbot for Mac is available now as a free update or as a new $19.99 download. The app is compatible with OS X 10.7.4 or later. The new image thumbnail options were first introduced to Tweetbot for iOS through the app's update last week. In addition, Tweetbot for iOS was updated with a new Avenir font option and an option, which has long been available in Tweetbot for Mac, to remove current tweets in the timelines or lists that match a newly created filter. Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, Tweetbot for iOS is available in the App Store for $4.99.
