Mindie 2.0 Features New Design, Private Videos, Fun Captions And More

Mindie, the "Vine meets MTV" video-sharing app released last October, has just been updated to version 2.0. Mindie 2.0 introduces a new design, complete with new swiping gestures. It also comes with new features, foremost of which is support for private videos or "mindies." Mindie now lets you send private mindies to your "best friends" on the Mindie network. Note, though, that private mindies may be watched only once (à la Snapchat). Mindie 2.0 also lets you add bigger text and emoji as captions to your mindies and double-tap a notification to reply with the same song. Moreover, the new version of the app adds support for Instagram sharing and sending mindies via text. Essentially, Mindie lets you:

Pick your favorite song (10 million+ songs available)

Record a 10-second music video that loops along with the music

Add fun captions or emoji

Send it directly to your best friends or followers. Or even on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram!
