Popular and full-featured weather app Weather Underground has just been updated with the move to version 3.3.
The community-powered weather network's website recently underwent a major redesign, complete with a new logo. And the app’s icon now reflects that change.
A number of new features have also been added to the main home screen. Most importantly, users can customize their screens by deleting and moving content modules around.
Weather watchers can also view and submit their own local WunderPhotos. Other images from users can be viewed on the new WunderPhotos layer on the map.
Finally, webcams can be viewed on the home screen.
Designed for the iPhone/iPod touch, Weather Underground can be downloaded now in the App Store for free. An in-app purchase of $1.99 will provide a year without any advertisements.
Version 3.0 of the app arrived back in late November. That brought an iOS 7 friendly design, landscape mode, the crowd reporting feature, and more.
