Great news for anyone eligible for an educational discount from Apple. Apple has recently expanded the program to include the iPad.
Discounts range anywhere from $20 to $30 off, depending on the particular model. That means buyers can purchase an iPad Air for as low as $469 and an iPad mini with Retina display for $379. The fourth-generation iPad starts at $369 while the first-generation iPad mini is $279.
The discounts seem to be rolling out internationally as well.
Along with K-12 and college students, the discounts are available to faculty and staff of educational institutions along with parents.
If you’re not eligible for the educational discount, but are still looking for a way to buy an iPad for less, definitely check out Apple’s Refurbished Store. While the in-stock products often change, there are definitely some great deals.
Along with the same one-year warranty Apple offers with new products, a new battery and shell are also included.
