Belkin has just announced a great accessory for the thin-and-light iPad Air. The company’s new QODE Thin Type keyboard measures in at 4mm thick and weighs less than the newest iPad itself.
Offering TruType technology that Belkin claims is similar to using a full-sized laptop keyboard, users can place their tablets in both landscape and portrait orientation while typing.
The keyboard attaches to the iPad Air with secure-hold magnets. Along with offering a number of iOS-specific function keys, the Thin Type’s built-in battery provides up to 79 hours of active typing.
Here’s a quick video about the keyboard case. Click here if you can’t see it.
After pairing the keyboard to your iPad Air via Bluetooth, SmartSense technology will automatically turn the Thin Type off when not in use.
The QODE Thin Type retails for $99.99 and can be ordered now directly from Belkin’s site. Buyers can select from a Space Gray or Silver version of the keyboard that will match up nicely with either color of iPad Air.
