Cydia Tweak: Daily Dash Adds Top Twitter Trends To The iOS Lock Screen
Daily Dash, a recently released jailbreak tweak, is a useful package that Twitter addicts will love.
Once downloaded and installed, the package – which is actually a Cydget widget – adds the top three current Twitter trends to the iOS Lock screen, allowing users to glance at their iOS device in order to check on what's happening in the microblogging world. Given that some of the most significant events of the past few years have reached many of us via Twitter, Daily Dash is a package that jailbreakers should enjoy using.
In order to enable Daily Dash, you'll need to ensure it's been activated inside of Cydget's preferences. These can be found in the Settings app, and a quick respring will be required in order for changes to take effect.
At the iOS Lock screen, jailbreakers will then be able to check on the three top trends which are currently dominating Twitter. Useful, right?
Though Daily Dash originally surfaced on the Cydia Store a few days ago, the package didn't seem to run properly on my iPhone 5s. However, the jailbreak tweak's developer has fixed this problem, and Daily Dash now appears to work perfectly on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
You can pick up Daily Dash free of charge on the Cydia Store. It's a smart package that users of Twitter should definitely appreciate.
