First unveiled back at CES 2014, iPad photographers can finally preorder Olloclip’s 4-in-1 Photo Lens attachment.
Compatible with the iPad Air or either generation of iPad mini, photographers can use a fisheye lens with a 180-degree field of view, a wide-angle lens that doubles the viewing angle of the normal iPad, and a 10x or 15x macro lens.
It clips onto a caseless tablet quickly while allowing users to easily switch lenses for that perfect photo or video. The lenses work with any photo or video app that uses the iPad’s rear camera.
We took a closer look at the system at Macworld/iWorld in late March. Click here if you can’t see the video.
Available in black or white to match either color of the iPad, the 4-in-1 Photo Lens can be preordered now from Olloclip’s site for $69.99. The lens kit is expected to ship on Monday, June 2.
While I’m not a big fan of taking photos with my iPad Air or iPad mini, Olloclip’s device is sure to appeal to the legions of tablet photographers. The company’s similar kit for the iPhone 5s/5, released last year, is one of my all-time favorite photography accessories.
